Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before subscribing to Ayaat Studio ("the Service"). By completing checkout you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to them.

1. What we do

Ayaat Studio operates dedicated social-media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) in the name of a person you choose (the "Honoree"). We produce and publish short-form Quran videos to those channels on a recurring schedule.

The Service is a production and publishing service, not a guarantee of audience size, view counts, or reach. New channels typically take 30-90 days to build any organic audience; some channels may never gain significant reach. Subscribers should value the Service for the act of ongoing publication (sadaqah jariyah), not as a marketing or audience-growth product.

2. The subscription

• Price. £19.50/month (or local equivalent — 99 SAR), billed monthly via Stripe. Pricing may change with 30 days' notice; existing subscribers stay on their current price for one billing cycle after any change.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time via the Stripe customer portal link in your welcome email, or by emailing hello@ayaat.studio. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
• Payment failure. If a renewal payment fails, we will pause publishing and retry the charge for up to 3 days per Stripe's standard recovery flow. If recovery fails, the subscription is paused; publishing resumes within 48 hours of successful payment.

3. Content + editorial control

• What we publish. Recitations of the Holy Quran (Uthmani text), per-verse bilingual captions (Arabic + English), and a small dedication line naming the Honoree.
• Editorial standards. Mainstream tafsir only; no fringe scholars, no novel interpretations, no music backing. Recitation is by professional reciters whose audio we have permission to use, or which is in the public domain.
• What we will not publish. Anything outside the agreed editorial frame above. We retain final editorial discretion and may refuse to dedicate a particular verse to a particular honoree if we judge the pairing inappropriate.
• Honoree changes. You may request a change of Honoree name once per quarter by emailing hello@ayaat.studio. We will action within 7 days.

4. The dedicated channels

• The channels are operated by Ayaat Studio for the benefit of your subscription. You do not own the channels themselves — Ayaat Studio retains operational ownership for platform-account and continuity reasons.
• The Honoree's NAME is what's dedicated; the channels' content, branding, and operation remain under Ayaat Studio's control.
• If you cancel, channels may continue to operate (with prior content remaining live) but no new dedicated content is published. We may also choose to retire a channel, in which case prior content may be archived or removed.
• We do not guarantee a specific channel handle or URL — platforms may force handle changes for trademark or anti-bot reasons.

5. Charitable allocation — 10% to Jam'iyyat Insan

We have committed 10% of gross monthly revenue to Jam'iyyat Insan al-Khayriyya li-Suqya al-Ma' (جمعية انسان الخيرية لسقيا الماء — Insan Charitable Society for Water Provision), a registered Kuwaiti charity that provides clean drinking water to communities in need. Their work is publicly documented at insan.org.kw. Allocations are made on a recurring schedule and traceable through our payment records on request. Your contribution to this allocation is part of the subscription fee — it is not a tax-deductible charitable donation in the United Kingdom; the donation is being made by Ayaat Studio as an entity, not by you directly.

6. Platform risks

Social-media platforms are third parties. Accounts can be suspended, restricted, or terminated by Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube for reasons outside our control — anti-bot mechanisms, content-ID matches, platform policy changes, or specific account flags. If a channel is suspended, we will:

1. Attempt platform-side recovery (appeals, content review requests).
2. If recovery fails within 14 days, provision a replacement channel with the same Honoree name and continue publishing.
3. Notify you of any channel disruption within 7 days.

We are not liable for platform-side decisions, lost content following platform suspension, or differences in performance between platforms.

7. Intellectual property and use rights

• Your data. You retain ownership of the Honoree name and any dedication text you provide. You grant Ayaat Studio a non-exclusive licence to use them in captions, dashboard, and email digests for the duration of your subscription.
• The Qur'an videos — yours to use freely. We grant you a full, open right to download the videos posted in your honoree's name, re-share them, forward them in family WhatsApp groups, save them locally, and use them for any personal or da'wah purpose you wish. The Qur'an is khayr — the more it spreads, the more reward — and we don't place restrictions on that.
• Commercial use. What's not permitted: selling the videos, bundling them into a paid service, or claiming you produced them yourself. Personal, family, and free-of-charge da'wah use is unrestricted.
• Quran text. The Arabic Quran text is universal religious content and not subject to copyright restrictions in our work. Translation choices (e.g. Sahih International) are used under their respective public-availability terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranty as to specific outcomes, view counts, follower growth, or platform availability.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the lower of (a) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £600.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill).

9. Termination by us

We may terminate or suspend your subscription with notice if:

• You attempt to abuse the Service (fraudulent chargebacks, requesting content that violates editorial standards or platform terms).
• Continuing the Service would create unacceptable risk (e.g. repeated platform suspensions linked to your specific dedication content).
• We discontinue the Service entirely. In this case, we will refund any unused portion of your current billing period pro-rata.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect intellectual property.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect; non-material changes (clarifications, typos) take effect immediately. Continued subscription after an update constitutes acceptance.
